Donuts with walnut and vanilla cream dip

Ingredients:

-  20 ml lukewarm milk (for the dough)

Mix the sugar with the lukewarm milk then crumble the yeast into the mixture and let it rise.

Stir the salt into the flour then add the risen yeast, the eggs and the egg yolks, the vanilla extract and finally the melted butter. Blend them in a kneading machine then put the sticky dough into a bowl covered with flour. Cover it and let it rise for an hour.

You can prepare the walnut and vanilla cream dip in the meantime. Mix the sugar, the cornstarch, the egg yolks and the vanilla extract together until it has a foamy composition, the gradually add the warm (but not hot!) milk and stir the mix until it gets smooth. Boil it over medium heat and wait until it gets thicker, then stop heating and cover it with plastic foil to prevent skin formation. Let it cool then add the delicious wlanut butter.

Knead through the dough a little then spliti t into 14 equal parts. Form smooth balls, then cover the buns and let them rise for another hour.

Heat oil in a pan then put the risen donuts into the oil in a way that their formerly upper half get fried first. Flip them so both their sides get perfect golden brown.
