Quince with Bacon and Onions
Ingredients:
- 2 small quinces
- 200 g bacon
- 1 large onion
- 2 tbsp hemp seed oil
- pinch of salt
- pepper
- chili pepper to taste
I peeled the quinces and cut them into small cubes. I also chopped the bacon and onion, then added them to a hot pan with hemp seed oil. When they started to brown, I added the quince cubes and cooked everything together over high heat. I seasoned with freshly ground pepper, finely chopped chili pepper, and a pinch of salt.
I piled the mixture onto toast, either drizzled with oil or fried in the fat left at the bottom of the pan.
