Homemade Cracker
Ingredients:
–For 8 people–
- 120 ml lukewarm water
- 115 g almond flour
- 20 g chia seeds
- 20 g sesame seeds
- 1 large pinch of salt
- 8 g garlic powder
- 2 g dried basil
- 2 g dried oregano
- 2 g dried parsley
- Large pinch of chili
Preparation:
–20 minutes–
Mix all the spices and chia seeds into the almond flour, then combine thoroughly.
Next, pour in the lukewarm water and continue mixing until you get a slightly sticky dough. Don’t worry if the mixture is soft – this is completely normal.
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out thinly with a rolling pin. Remove one sheet of parchment from the top. It’s important not to leave the dough too thick – the goal is for it to be crispy after baking, but it doesn’t need to be so thin that it becomes completely transparent.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F), using top and bottom heat, for 10-12 minutes. For a crispy result, let it cool completely before breaking it into pieces by hand.
Tips for perfect results:
-
Roll the dough thinly for maximum crispiness.
-
Be patient and let it cool completely before breaking.
