Poppy Seed Waffles

Ingredients
Makes approx. 8 waffles

  • 120 g oat flour
  • 1 ½ ripe bananas (about 110 g)
  • 1 medium egg
  • 40 g ground poppy seeds
  • 40 ml milk or plant-based milk (just a splash)
  • 3 g baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 3 tablespoons poppy seed oil

Preparation

Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until the batter reaches a thick pancake-like consistency. Spoon the batter into a lightly oiled waffle maker and cook until golden brown.

Serve drizzled with almond butter and fresh fruit on the side.
